Streamed live on the web, in the video Vanessa plays a woman who leaves her boyfriend after being inspired by a DJ, somehow though she ends up getting tackled to the floor.
When it came time for the 'crazed fan' to run out from the audience the brown haired beauty looked legitimately shocked as she was first put in a headlock and then thrown to the floor.
Luckily for the star she was only acting, as her mini dress would have guaranteed a wardrobe malfunction.

For the clip, Vanessa wore an eye catching red dress that featured a keyhole cut out showing just a hint of the star's chest.
The actress teamed the short hemlined frock with a pair of super high black strappy heels and wore her long locks straightened and flowing down her back.
The red hot look was the Spring Breakers' second for the evening.

The 24-year-old arrived at the New York awards' red carpet in a stunning long sleeved floor length gown.
The yellow dress was clearly inspired by religious frescoes featuring an intricate pattern and religious iconology.
The star teamed the dressed with a pair of gold pointed heels.

Vanessa and Avicii's music video was the brain child of Girl's writer Lena Dunham.
The YouTube Music awards are a first for the video website, and were hosted by Jason Schwartzman and Reggie Watts.
Besides Vanessa's performance, also taking to the stage was Lady Gaga and  Eminem - who won artist of the year.
