X Factor star Tamera Foster channels a retro look from the 90's

Back to the 90s: X Factor star Tamera Foster channels a retro look from the decade that made shell suits, bandanas and DMs cool

The hoop earrings, fluoro shell top and coloured DM boots scream 90s fashion.
And Tamera Foster has gone all out when channeling the decade for her X Factor rehearsals.
The 16-year-old singer who found herself in the bottom two last week has talked about trying to find her own creative style and is obviously trying out different looks to see what fits.

Piling her newly blonde locks high on her head she accessorised her hair do by tying a blue bandana into a top knot.
It's a style made famous by rapper Tupac in the 1990s and reworked by young female stars of the time as such Christina Aguilera and girl group TLC.
The X Factor contestants pink, purple and turquoise shell top originates from a trend no one thought would make a comeback, but the zip up top instantly brightens up her otherwise black ensemble.
Tamera looked to be in good spirits on her way to rehearsals despite coming close to being kicked off the ITV1 show last Sunday after disco week didn't go her way.

The talented beauty hit back at her critics on Sunday, fearing viewers have the wrong impression of her after being accused of everything from shoplifting to stealing people’s boyfriends.
She told Metro backstage: ‘All the stories that have been brought up have come from people who don’t like me. But what can you do?
‘Someone is always going to have something bad to say, so you just have to brush it off and carry on. It’s kind of harsh but I guess everyone goes through it.
'I’m glad the bad press was more at the beginning. I think it would throw me off a little bit if it happened now, because it is quite a lot to deal with.’

The judges looked astonished at the results with Louis Walsh left open-mouthed while Nicole Scherzinger stood up to give Tamera some words of encouragement.
Tamera chose Whitney Houston’s classic ballad, I have Nothing, for Sunday's sing-off, giving a note-perfect rendition.
The singer also looked sensational in a plum bodycon dress with statement gold and diamante jewellery, wearing her dyed blonde hair in curls.
But when it came down to it Kingsland Road were sent home ending the boys dreams of X Factor success.
