Rihanna writhes around in a bondage-style monokini and mask to pay tribute to the late designer Alexander McQueen for AnOther Magazine
Fashionista Rihanna is known for her close relationships with top designers, having been spotted cozying up to Zac Posen at his show on Monday.
That same day AnOther Magazine released a stunning black and white cover featuring the 26-year-old sporting a mask by late designer Alexander McQueen.
It was part of a special series documenting McQueen's legacy of the past, present, and future, as depicted by stars in fashion, film, and music.
Remembering a designer: Rihanna graced the cover of AnOther Magazine donning a mask by late designer Alexander McQueen
On the cover Rihanna sports a black mask designed by McQueen, as part of a series featuring three covers meant to honor the fashion icon's legacy.
Her dark locks are styled straight, and she sports blunt bangs in the black and white photo, as well as a few simple silver earrings.
Rihanna's segment of the McQueen feature was meant to celebrate music, and she was shot for the magazine by Inez and Vinoodh.
Legacy: Inside the pages of the story Rihanna sported a custom-made bodice and suit by Sarah Burton, Alexander McQueen's creative director
The issue also features pieces from the late designer - who passed away in London in February 2010 - from the Nineties, which many thought to be lost, some of which were never before photographed for a magazine.
McQueen's friend of 14 years Susannah Frankel also divulges some of the most revealing conversations she and the courageous designer shared.
Her piece is featured alongside the fashion story by Nick Knight, which showcases some of McQueen's most exclusive pieces.
Iconic: The hitmaker's segment of the magazine special was celebrating music
Inside the issue, Rihanna sports a custom-made bodice and suit by Sarah Burton, who currently serves as Creative Director for the brand Alexander McQueen.
In one shot, the songstress shows off her toned stomach in a shimmery top with daring cut-outs paired with flared trousers and a long, elegant jacket.
She puts her entire enviable figure on display in two other shots, which feature the McQueen mask from the cover, as well as strappy heels, and lingerie.

The Spectre actress was shot by Collier Schorr and Katie Shillingford - AnOther Magazine fashion director - and she wore Sarah's current McQueen collection.
