She is the cover girl for next month’s NYLON magazine, so it’s no wonder Rita Ora was the centre of attention when she attended a party for the publication on Friday night.

The 24-year-old singer was seen making a stylish arrival at popular nightspot Blind Dragon in West Hollywood, California.

Dressed in a black and white pinstripe blazer and shorts combo, the pop star happily stopped to pose for pictures inside the exclusive event.

The Black Widow hitmaker, who split from the Scottish DJ last year, confessed their bitter breakup made her realise she wasn't being true to herself and inspired many of the songs on her upcoming second album.

'I had a breakup, or whatever, and it really made me realise what I was trying to do,’ she explained.

'I had been fixated on this love fantasy, but really it wasn't like that, and I had to take myself back.

'For me, this was my moment where I had to be real and tell the truth and be honest. I love my pop songs, and I'm still gonna be pop, but this has just got a lot more depth to it.'
