  • Somerset-born Holly saw off competition in Mexico City to join the squad

Brit Holly Warden has realised her lifetime ambition by joining the NFL’s most cosmopolitan cheerleading roster.
The Miami Dolphins cheerleaders for the 2016 season feature women from eight countries, with five languages spoken on a truly international squad.
Holly, 25, will make her debut next month in front of 65,000 fans when the Dolphins make their 2016 regular season bow at New Miami Stadium after two road games.

Holly joins a truy international roster, with members plucked from Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, Cuba, England, Haiti, Mexico and the USA

After auditioning in Mexico, Holly beat off competition from over 200 hopefuls to join the 36-strong squad.
‘This is a dream come true for me and I am especially proud to be the only British NFL cheerleader. I have dreamt about this since school,’ said Somerset-born Holly.

After excelling at dance through secondary school, her love of dance has taken her around the world. She has appeared in music videos, and even the latest James Bond film, Spectre. 
With the Dolphins holding international auditions in Rio de Janeiro, Buenos Aires, Bogota, and Mexico City, Holly could not pass up on the opportunity to strut her stuff in the NFL.  
Clearly passionate about her craft, Holly added:‘Cheerleading is about physical and mental strength as well as agility and athleticism.
'We are truly ambassadors of the Miami Dolphins, not only cheering at the games, but also active in our community visiting schools and hospitals, and bringing spirit to our military troops abroad.'
