She's always a bright star on the red carpet.

But on Monday night Jaimie Alexander stole the show at The Brink premiere in Hollywood as she took to the arrivals carpet in a glamorous dress.

The 31-year-old was positively stunning in a low cut, slit-to-the-thigh, red dress for the new HBO series which she has a starring role in.

The gorgeous actress showed off her flawless complexion and lean figure as she stood tall in black heels.

In The Brink, a dark comedy centred on a geopolitical crisis in Pakistan, Jaimie plays Lt. Gail Sweet.

The HBO series, which co-star Tim Robbins (who also directs a few episodes) and Jack Black, premieres on June 21.

The stunning actress recently became engaged to Twilight actor Peter Facinelli,.

The bride-to-be told People: 'Him and his children [Luca, 17, Lola, 12, and Fiona, 8, with ex-wife Jennie Garth] have made me a better person. Without trying to sound cliché, he's an amazing person.'

'We're both very busy people and we want to make sure that when we get married, we actually have the right amount of time to spend with family and friends because it's gonna be such a fun celebration.'

The happy couple - who began their romance in 2011 - have acted together in Showtime's Nurse Jackie and the romantic dramedy Loosies.

Alexander is to play Jane Doe in the new FBI mystery thriller Blindspot, which premieres this fall on NBC.

In it, she endures seven-hour make-up sessions in order to play the amnesiac tattooed with clues to a crime.

Meanwhile, Facinelli is finishing up his part as Dr. Fitch Cooper in the seventh (and final) season of Nurse Jackie, which airs Sundays through June 28 on Showtime.

The two-time SAG Award nominee also plays former U.S. Attorney Peter Decker in American Odyssey, which airs Sundays on NBC.

On August 4, Little Brown Books for Young Readers will publish Peter's YA novel After the Red Rain, which he co-authored with Barry Lyga and Rob DeFranco.

She's put her love-split blues behind her and flown to New York to dazzle yet another red-carpet.

Gigi Hadid, 20, larked about on the red carpet of Maybelline's 100th birthday in New York with fellow model Jourdan Dunn on Thursday.

The playful pair weren't shy to get involved - with Gigi copping a handful of British model Jourdan's pert posterior.

Gigi wowed in a red and black thigh-skimming mini-skirt, which showed off her long toned legs.

The model, who is the face of the cosmetic's giant, teamed it with a simple black top and matching floor length kimono.

She slicked back her blonde locks into an elegant ponytail and opted for smokey eye make-up which elogated her almond eyes.

The daughter of Yolanda Foster split with her boyfriend of two years, Cody Simpson, last week and was getting over her heartbreak by meeting up twice this week with Joe Jonas in Hollywood.

Cody and Gigi split because they were too busy with work commitments, and with her punishing schedule it's easy to see how they struggled to find time to see each other.

The 26-year-old actress let her curly locks tumbled over one shoulder and kept it conservative with black heels and a black clutch.

The make-up company are celebrating a centenary of asking whether she's born with it.

She was named the World’s Most Beautiful Woman in People magazine on Wednesday.

And on the same day Gwyneth Paltrow showed just why as she put on a sophisticated appearance at the Marvel’s Iron Man 3 Hollywood premiere.

The 40-year-old arrived on the red carpet at the El Capitan Theatre in Los Angeles, California in a gown which looked demure from a distance.

However on closer look the actress’ dress featured mesh panels down the sides, showing off her hips and décolletage area.

The material would have made it almost impossible for her to wear underwear beneath the number.

While she could have quite possibly been wearing a strapless bra, briefs would have been too tricky.

She is known for taking up often strict healthy eating plans - such as eating only macrobiotic meals at one point - in an effort to stay trim.

The film is released in the United Kingdom on April 25 and the synopsis reads that when Tony Stark's world is torn apart by a formidable terrorist called the Mandarin, he starts an odyssey of rebuilding and retribution.
