But blushing bride Melanie Sykes and her roofer boyfriend Jack Cockings looked blissfully happy as they celebrated their union on Saturday.
The 42-year-old TV presenter and her 27-year-old groom shared a passionate kiss in the company of friends and relatives after a decadent marriage ceremony.

Mel looked beautiful in a crystal studded peach dress which glistened in the afternoon sunshine outside Sherborne Castle in Dorset.
She showed off her natural beauty with her hair tied back and kept accessories restricted to a pair of giant pearls.
Husband Jack looked the perfect groom in a smart suit complete with a pink tie and rose in his top pocket.

They attracted their fair share of criticism when they exchanged a series of saucy messages via Twitter during the infancy of their relationship.
As the last-minute preparations for their top-secret wedding day took hold on Saturday morning, the 26-year-old roofer was spotted arriving at his family home in Dorset as he got ready to tie the knot to the 42-year-old TV presenter.
Speculation had been rife earlier in the day that the pair would enjoy a pink-themed ceremony after Jack was seen being accompanied inside by a woman carrying a number of pastel-coloured suits.

But it would seem young Jack had enjoyed a late night the previous evening, as he was sipping quietly on a can of Red Bull energy drink as he attempted to perk himself up ahead of the ceremony.
Despite their nearest and dearest seen arriving at Jack's family home in their droves, mother-of-two Melanie seemed keen to put her Twitter followers off the scent that she was tying the knot on Saturday.

In addition to the numerous friends and family in attendance, the happy couple were joined by celebrity make-up artist Gary Cockerill, famed for his close friendship with Katie Price, who was lugging a huge bag of cosmetics into the venue.
Suggesting a big event was about to take place, he wrote on his Twitter page on Saturday morning: 'What a beautiful Day! ❤'

Sykes and her toyboy fiancé were forced to launch an emergency hunt for a new place to marry after details of their original wedding venue were published in a local paper earlier this month.
The 42-year-old presenter had been due to tie the knot with the 27-year-old roofer in Sherborne Abbey in Dorset on May 18, but was forced to change the plans after local paper The Western Gazette published details from the wedding banns two weeks ago.
Melanie's publicist Jonathan Hackford said at the time: 'As a direct consequence of the Western Gazette's story two weeks ago, Melanie and Jack have been forced to change the venue for their wedding.'

The pair announced their engagement in August 2012 following a whirlwind three-month romance.
Melanie tweeted at the time: 'To my beautiful twitter friends just want to let you know that me & Jack @bespokespartan are engaged to be married and we are very giddy xxx.'
In 2009, Sykes was granted a quickie divorce from actor husband Daniel Caltagirone, the father of her two sons Roman, 10, and Luca, eight.
