ER star Parminder Nagra scores a 'huge victory' over ex-husband James Stenson in bitter divorce battle... as she gets BOTH houses and three cars
Victorious: Parminder Nagra is said to have secured a 'huge victory' over her photographer ex-husband, James Stenson in their bitter divorce battle
Their divorce battle was heating up to be increasingly bitter, even by Hollywood's standards.
But Parminder Nagra is said to have scored a 'huge victory' over her photographer ex-husband, James Stenson, as their marriage was formally ended.
Despite the snapper previously claiming the ER star was hiding the money she received from her acting career to prevent him getting at it, legal documents obtained by TMZ have revealed she won't have to give up any of her income.
In the settlement, the British actress was reportedly awarded all her 'income, residuals and royalties' from her successful acting career - including stints in E.R, Alcatraz and Psych - as well as the syndication money these gigs accrue in the future.
Furthermore, the Leicester-born star has also received the former couple's $700,000 California home, their $1.5 million property in the UK.
Additionally, Nagra - who shot to fame alongside Keira Knightley in 2002's Bend It Like Beckham - will receive the proceeds from the sale of the pair's rental property, and three of their four cars.
Meanwhile, James was said to have been awarded $450,000 from the sale of the rental home, as well as a Mazda CX9 vehicle, his photography business and $1,226-a-month in child support payments for the couple's four-year-old son, Kai.

The photographer had previously filed a lawsuit for damages equating to half the value of the three properties the couple purchased, claiming that before they tied the knot in 2009 - shortly before the birth of their son - they were 'life partners' for six years and promised to share their combined wealth.
According to legal documents previously obtained by TMZ, Stenson claimed the three homes were all purchased through a 'shell' corporation set up in his ex-wife’s name.
He also maintained that when Nagra landed the role of Dr Neela Rasgotra in long-running US hospital drama E.R. in 2003, he agreed to give up his £200,000-a-year photographer’s job to manage the couple’s life in America.

The couple married with two weddings – a civil and a Sikh ceremony – in 2009, with former E.R. co-star Maura Tierney, who played nurse Abigail Lockheart, officiating over the proceedings.
Nagra filed for divorce at Los Angeles Superior Court on February 8 in 2012, citing ‘irreconcilable differences' as the reason behind the split.
The actress has previously revealed her family expected her to go through with an arranged marriage, explaining: 'When I was 18 my mother gave me a photo of a man and said I’d marry him. I told her then that I was never going to have an arranged marriage.'
