They defied their critics as hit show Devious Maids was recently renewed for a second season.
And Roseyln Sanchez is clearly still basking in the glory of a show renewal, judging by her stunning appearance at the Roma Fiction Festival on Monday night.
The 40-year-old singer-turned-actress shone in a sequinned black gown as she posed on the pink carpet at the event alongside co-star Edy Ganem.

Roseyln's fitted dress clung to her figure in all the right places, with the actress finishing off her look with glossy and straight black hair and a slick of bright red lipstick.
Speaking recently about the fact that Devious Maids, produced by Eva Longoria and written by Desperate Housewives' Marc Cherry, was renewed for a second season, Roselyn said that she and the rest of the cast felt 'vindicated' by the decision after initially poor critical reception to the show.
Roselyn, who plays a maid who hopes to be discovered as a singer in the show, said: 'We talk among the girls, we talk about how good it feels to be able to survive. The show keeps growing and it gets better and better, and the response is fantastic.

'Even people that criticised it before seeing anything, now that they’ve seen it, they’re all silent. Because they realised, I think, that they formed an opinion way too early, without even giving it a shot. And, yes, we feel vindicated.'
And Roselyn previously said that while having daughter Carmen made it tough balancing her work and personal lives, it was becoming a parent that made her want to take on the role even more.
She said: 'It's a lot of work. It's so intense when you become a parent. You realise it's not about you anymore.
'When I read the script and I saw Carmen, I was like... "I get her!" because I sing and I know what it is to leave your country and move to the States to be able to become a performer.'

Roselyn had some competition in the glamour stakes at the Italian festival, however, from co-star Edy, who looked incredible in a blush-coloured knee-length dress.
The stunning actress, who plays maid Valentina in the show, finished off her look by wearing her raven hair in a chic updo, and wore dainty nude sandals as she posed for photographers.
Speaking recently about the success of the show, Edy told Latina magazine: 'I feel like I’m on Cloud 9. This has been a dream come true for me. I keep wondering, "When is this going to hit me?"
'When I’m on the set and we’re filming, I realise it’s all real. Seeing the billboards for the show and watching the episodes still surprises me. I tell myself, "That’s you! You’re playing Valentina." It’s definitely surreal and I’m enjoying taking it all in.'
