Unlike many celebrities who go to great lengths to pass off professional photographs as their own on social media, they 20-year-old has no problem posting candid - and near naked - snaps of herself on Instagram.
Miley does not even need a fancy or picturesque setting, in fact on Wednesday, the star was all too happy to share a photo of herself in her bathroom.

The Wrecking Ball singer showed off her growing hair and her figure, ignoring the unsolicited advice she received just a few hours earlier from iconic singer Sinead O'Connor about not 'pimping' her body for attention.
The 20-year-old caption the image, 'My hair is getting looonnggeer' much to the approval of her fans.
While the image was meant to show her now longer locks, which she styled in a long side swept bang across her face, Miley's choice of clothing, or lack of clothing ensured, her very toned and slender figure was the centre of attention.

For the shot - which she took on her blinged out iPhone into her bathroom's mirror - Miley wore just a small pair of white mesh jogging shorts and a tiny black crop to bra.
The minimalist look ensured her abs were unmissable along with her muscular arms and constantly growing tattoo collection.

While she went without many clothes, Miley certainly did not go without bling, wearing a large gold ring on her middle finger, along with two heavy gold chain bracelets and a matching necklace.
The singer also showed off a fresh looking manicure with Miley's long nails painted white.

No doubt Miley will be filling her social media pages with numerous snaps in the next few days, as the singer gears up for the release of her new album Bangerz.
Already released in some countries the album is out in the US on October 8.
The singer's latest scantily clad Instagram comes as Miley's continues to push away from her Disney teen star image.
In a MTV documentary on Wednesday night - Miley: The Movement - the star talked about her now infamous VMAs performance, saying she does not care what people thing as long as they are talking about her.
'I don't pay attention to the negative,' she said. 'You might as well make people talk for two weeks rather than two seconds.
'Yes, I am very comfortable with sexuality and I like pushing the boundaries but I'm coming out in pigtails looking like a giant adult baby but doing really, like, naughty stuff.
'People can think that it was just like a hot mess, but it's a strategic hot mess. Right now I can be exactly who I want to be. I just want to have fun,' the singer who split with fiance Liam Hemsworth last month said.
One person it certainly got talking was Irish singer Sinead, who has battled her own daemons thanks to enormous success in the industry.
The singer wrote and open letter to her younger counterpart, after Miley revealed she was challenging Sinead's famous club for song Nothing Compares 2 U.

The singer posted the letter on her website saying it was 'in the spirit of motherliness and with love'.
'I am extremely concerned for you that those around you have led you to believe, or encouraged you in your own belief, that it is in any way ‘cool’ to be naked and licking sledgehammers in your videos.
'It is in fact the case that you will obscure your talent by allowing yourself to be pimped, whether its the music business or yourself doing the pimping.
'The music business doesn’t give a s**t about you, or any of us. They will prostitute you for all you are worth, and cleverly make you think its what YOU wanted.. and when you end up in rehab as a result of being prostituted, ‘they’ will be sunning themselves on their yachts in Antigua, which they bought by selling your body and you will find yourself very alone.'
