It is sometimes easy to forget that before they were famous, most celebrities were as starstruck as the rest of us mere mortals.
But on Thursday, actress Eva Mendes got a reminder of her pre-fame existence when Alyssa Milano tweeted a picture of the duo meeting as teenagers.
In keeping with the social media phenomenon of 'Throwback Thursday,' Alyssa shared a picture - originally tweeted by a fan - of herself with a young Eva Mendes at a meet-and-greet at a mall in California.

The picture was taken nearly 25 years ago, before Eva, who was 15 at the time, was famous.
The star, who is now 39, looks excited to be meeting Alyssa, who was then one of the stars of the popular television series Who's The Boss.
The fresh-faced star beams at the camera as she leans into Alyssa, now 41, who sports a professional smile as she sits at a desk autographing a head-shot for her fan.

Alyssa enjoyed fame at a young age but had her first major career break at 14 when she was cast in Who's the Boss.
The popular ABC show established the brunette star as a teen idol and led to many other roles in both film and television, including the hit series Charmed, which she starred in for eight years.
Alyssa is currently one of the stars of the hit ABC show Mistresses.
Eva, meanwhile, has appeared in many films, from romantic comedies such as Hitch to more gritty films like The Place Beyond the Pines, where she met her current boyfriend Ryan Gosling.
