Golden Globe winner Cate Blanchett makes Vogue Australia cover in a metallic copper suit

She's a golden girl in Vogue too! Golden Globe winner Cate Blanchett makes cover-girl in a metallic copper suit

She won for a Golden Globe award for her role in Blue Jasmine tonight and Cate Blanchett also looks every inch the golden girl on February's cover of Vogue Australia.
Blanchett models a Gucci metallic copper suit, reminiscent of Australia's distinctive red desert sand dunes as she plays cover girl.
The 44-year-old star showed her modesty in the interview, saying: 'I'm always so full of regret when a film has finished.

'By the end of the shoot I want to start again, I want the chance to make it better.'
Her outstanding performance in Blue Jasmin though, has already seen her win best actress in a motion picture drama category at the Golden Globes, held tonight in Los Angeles.
Of the role, Blanchett said in Vogue: 'I felt like I connected in Blue Jasmine, and given how few takes we did and how frequently the scenes played out in one shot, you felt for better or for worse that you, as actors, were in command of the scenes.'

The mother-of-three sons then changed into a cream Chanel pullover from the Chanel boutiques, J'Aton Couture skirt and Celine shoes, which complemented her porcelain skin and sun-kissed blonde locks.
But she ditched the cream hues when she stepped out on tonight's Golden Globes red carpet and instead wowed in a dramatic Armani Prive black lace and tulle gown.
The Australian beauty accessorized with large diamond earrings and a matching diamond bracelet.
Her blonde locks were coiffed in a neat bob and she too wore simple makeup on her porcelain visage.

She joined a host of blonde, glamorous, Australian stars at the event, including Margot Robbie and Naomi Watts.
But Cate is arguably the most renowned Aussie actress of her generation and has a busy line-up of film roles to come.
Her next film to hit the cinema is Cinderella, and she said: 'I'm playing the wicked, not ugly, stepmother.'
But she also has another four films in post production and four others in pre-production.
