Sandra Bullock may have chosen to cover up in a demure floral dress, but the trend was rather more revealing for many of the the ladies on the People's Choice Awards red carpet.
Malin Akerman, Heidi Klum and Jessica Alba dared to bare in very low cut gowns as they stepped out at the Nokia Theatre in downtown Los Angeles on Wednesday night.
Heidi, 40, wore her hair in a high plait and teamed her sparking sleeveless gown with closed toe black shoes and dangling earrings.

Before the ceremony, the Project Runway star paid tribute to her team of stylists and make-up artists for her red carpet look.
'I have a very great glam team,' she told Just Jared. 'They help a lot. I did not wake up looking like this. My kids love this dress because it looks like I have Hello Kittys everywhere on my dress.'

Malin joined the stars showing off their cleavages in a white Cushnie et Ochs dress which was adorned with a black scribble design. Black and white heels completed the look while the front of the gown featured a t-bar cut out design.

White was a favourite shade for many of the stars at the event, with Jennifer Hudson sporting a long sleeved sleek sophisticated Kaufman Franco number teamed with matching high heeled sandals.

The People's Choice Awards nominees are determined by national ratings averages, box-office grosses, music sales, social media activity and peopleschoice.com data. Winners were selected by fans voting online.
