She’s already has many fans thanks to her roles in Ashes to Ashes and Line Of Duty.
And Keeley Hawes is to set to win over many more following the announcement that she will play a mysterious villain in the next series of Doctor Who.
The actress will take a guest star as Ms Delphox on an episode of Peter Capaldi’s first series as the new Time Lord.

Described by the BBC as ‘a powerful out-of-this-world character with a dark secret’, she will encounter the Doctor when he and his companion Clara, played by Jenna Colema, land on a strange planet.
The Ashes to Ashes star was recently seen as Detective Inspector Lindsay Denton in Line Of Duty and is ‘delighted’ to get the chance to star in the popular sci-fi show.
She said: ‘Ms Delphox is a great character and someone I've had a lot of fun playing.’

The BBC1 show's executive producer Steven Moffat said: ‘Anyone watching Jed Mercurio's amazing Line Of Duty will know that Keeley Hawes is having one hell of year.
‘And now it's about to get even better as she achieves the greatest villainy yet attempted on Doctor Who: she plays a banker.’
The Thick Of It actor, Peter Capaldi, is currently filming his first series as the Doctor after he was officially introduced to audiences in the 2013 Christmas edition of the show.

Audiences have also been shown the new Time Lord’s official costume after BBC unveiled the outfit earlier this year.
Matt Smith sported a bow tie as the previous Time Lord, Peter is seen in a dark blue Crombie coat with red lining, dark blue trousers, a white shirt as well as black Dr Marten shoes.
The costume was created by Doctor Who costume designer Howard Burden.
