Poster and stills released showing Zoe Saldana in TV remake of classic horror film Rosemary's Baby

Devil is in the details: Poster and stills released showing Zoe Saldana in TV remake of classic horror film Rosemary's Baby

The promotional poster and stills from the upcoming NBC miniseries Rosemary's Baby have been released.
The television event, starring Zoe Saldana, 35, is a remake of the classic 1968 horror film directed by Roman Polanski about a woman who fears she's given birth to the Antichrist.
The original represented a breakthrough film role for Mia Farrow as Rosemary Woodhouse, the role Zoe plays in the NBC project.

The poster for the miniseries, due to air in May, shows Zoe in profile clutching her postpartum belly as she stands in front of a baby carriage with pale sunlight streaming through a window.
The tagline on the poster is 'Fear is born'.
In one of two stills, a frightened looking Zoe, sporting Farrow's iconic pixie haircut, is standing on a drab staircase with her hand on her pregnant belly.
She's wearing a gray hoodie and sweatpants and an oatmeal sweater over a white T-shirt.

The other photograph is in overhead shot of Zoe and co-star Patrick J. Adams, who plays her husband, lying on top of a messily covered bed.
Zoe is wearing a white, woven dress and Patrick, shown in profile staring at Zoe, is in a dress shirt and pants.
The modern four-hour miniseries adaptation of the classic novel by Ira Levin focuses on young Rosemary Woodhouse's suspicions that her neighbors may belong to a Satanic cult who are hellbent on getting the baby she is carrying.

She becomes suspicious that her neighbours and husband have made a pact that may have deadly results for the child.
Polanski's 1968 film has long been considered a classic, so NBC has much to live up to.
The haunted tale of the expectant mother has been transplanted from New York's Gothic Dakota Building, to an evocative area in Paris, which as fans of the movie know, will already deviate from the claustrophobic feel of the original.

Zoe was seen last week on the Paris set in a chic navy blue ensemble.
The creepy neighbours are played by Jason Isaacs as warlock/coven-leader Roman Castevet and Carole Bouquet as his wife, Margeaux.
Ruth Gordon won a supporting actress Oscar as the neighbor, then named Minnie, in the original.
