And Georgia May Foote has shown just how blissful the trip is as she slipped on her bikini to take a stunning snap with the idyllic ocean as a backdrop.
The 25-year-old former Coronation Street star appeared to have befriended a fish in the clear waters in the snap she shared with her 430,00 Instagram followers.

The relaxing break has come to mark the end of the Strictly Come Dancing tour.

The actress looked smitten with her man as she sat in his lap, prompting him to give her a soft peck on the cheek.

Giovanni announced that the genetically-blessed duo were off on their holidays on Tuesday, with the Italian heartthrob reiterating their love of the selfie with another shot of the two striking a pose for the camera as they waited in the airport before boarding their plane.
'Off to the Maldives finally our holiday has arrived @georgiamay112,' the 25-year-old captioned the image, which saw both him and Georgia clad in casual, sporty ensembles for their long-haul flight.
But it doesn't look as though the holiday is all work and no play for the former soap star as she also revealed she has been reading up on her upcoming stint as Holly Golightly in the stage adaptation of Breakfast at Tiffany's.
Sharing a picture of a book on the production, she wrote: 'What a perfect place to have a little study of @tiffanysonstage ... @velassarumaldives'.

Speaking about her upcoming role as the 'good-time girl,' Georgia said: 'I am so excited that for my first theatre role I will be playing such an iconic character. I cannot wait to join the cast of Breakfast At Tiffany's as Holly Golightly.
'It's a wonderful adaptation of an incredible story and I'm really thrilled to be part of it!'
Playing the part of Holly from September 19 to November 19, she will share the role with pop star Pixie Lott and The Inbetweeners actress Emily Atack.
And of course doting boyfriend Giovanni was there to congratulate his love on her achievement.
'Proud of you Amore ... Can't wait to see you on stage !!! #pocketrocket,' he gushed.
