Watch out Kim! Kendall Jenner lands herself a U.S. Vogue cover as she dishes on how to be an Instagram star and whether she will go to college
The fashion bible's cover has long been the Holy Grail for models everywhere and now this star can ALMOST lay claim to that prize.
Kendall Jenner has landed herself on a cover - not the cover - of Vogue following hot on the heels of big sister Kim Kardashian and brother-in-law Kanye West.
However, the 20-year-old can only claim the honour in Los Angeles and in New York as her big front of book debut is on a special subscribers' edition.

Nevertheless, wowing in a Proenza Schouler bikini in a shot taken by icon Mario Testino with 'Vogue' above your head is nothing to sneeze at and stands testament to the model's continued domination in fashion.
As writer of the April edition - the same month Kim's cover came out in 2014 - Robert Sullivan says in the feature, Kendall is a force to be reckoned with.
The author and Vogue contributor writes: 'Kendall Jenner's arrival in the fashion world isn't quite out of nowhere, and only two years after walking her first Marc Jacobs show, she is less like a player than a small planet, with connections to a universe of celebrities and models and designers, and with about as many followers on Instagram as there are residents of South Korea.'
And when it comes to Instagram she certainly knows a thing or two, after all she has 52 million followers.
'She's a planet': As writer of the April edition, Robert Sullivan, says in the feature, Kendall is a force to be reckoned with. The 20-year-old is pictured in a Marc Jacobs sweater with Eberjey bikini bottoms
According to Kendall the trick is being two things - 'organic' and a 'mystery'.
She told Vogue: 'So, it has to be organic. It means you can't totally plan it out.'
As for mystery: 'You don't want to do too many posts. You want to leave them wanting to come back.'
Not for her: As Vogue shadowed the reality star for the day she sat down with Fashion force Tory Burch (left) who quizzed the young model about her future including whether she would go to college. The model said she already has a job, she did not felt she needed to go
Speaking about her most liked Instagram snap ever- where she is laying on the floor with her hair in hearts by pals Gigi and Bella Hadid - she said that picture was not even thought out.
'I was having a bad day. I wasn’t in the flow. I was like, Everyone sucks. That’s when I did my best image.'
And she was not even going to post it: 'I was lying in bed and messing with it. And I thought, ''Is this good?''. And I remember looking at it right away and having a lot of likes and saying. ''huh.'''
Social media star: The model has over 52 million Instagram followers (and this picture holds the record with the most liked with 3.5 likes) and says the trick is being two things - 'organic' and a 'mystery'
Despite her success however, the star told the magazine the focus on social media is sometimes a little mind blowing to her.
'I mean, it's so crazy to me 'cause it's so not real life - to stress out about a social-media thing.'
In her footsteps: Big sister Kim Kardashian and husband Kanye West starred on Vogue's cover in April 2014
Besides her modelling and her Instagram fame, the 20-year-old is emerging as a fashion business model with hers and sister Kylie Jenner's collaborations with Pac Sun and Top Shop and their recently launched label Kendall + Kylie.
As Vogue shadowed the reality star for the day she sat down with Fashion force Tory Burch, who quizzed the young model about her future including whether she would go to college.
Kendall revealed further education is not really for her: 'You talk to people and they say the reason they went to college was to get a job, but I already have a job, so...'
As for how she is protecting her business, Kendall told Tory: 'I work with my mother. My mom is my manager. A lot of times she will say to me, ''As your mom I want to tell you this, but as your momager''. My dad is just my dad.'
As for what she is passionate about, Kendall was firm - business.
'If you're talking about the love thing,' Jenner said, 'I could have done a lot of things, but I chose to be this baby businesswoman.'
The 20-year-old, of course, already as celebrity and is one of fashion's biggest stars, with the conic Karl Lagerfeld heaping praise on the star - who closed out his Chanel show.
He told Vogue: 'She is a very sweet person. Very caring and not at all spoiled by those superficial successes. I must say I love her.'
While many have said that these successes were just handed to the star thanks to her family's television show, Kendall later told Sullivan - via text - she is determined to not take anything for granted.
Kendall texted: 'I'm aware of the incredible opportunity I've been given by coming into this business. I mean, I've dreamed of being a part of this my whole life.'
