It must be a laugh a minute working on the hit quiz show The Chase.
Famed just as much for its hilarious outtakes and scenes of presenter Bradley Walsh corpsing as it is for its general knowledge and tense quizzing showdowns, The Chase has just delivered another moment that may well have toppled Fanny Schmelar from the best video ever podium.
It all started with Chaser Shaun Wallace innocently fluffing his lines as he tried to say hello to the hopeful facing him.
But as both he and Bradders got the attack of the giggles, things plummeted spectacularly, with the colleagues leaving the nervous contestants bemused as they transformed into laughing and bickering schoolboys.

With his Dark Destroyer persona meaning he is never supposed to smile on the show, Shaun is probably the last TV star you’d expect to have to cry out ‘Cut!’ because he is laughing so hard – but this is the proof that he is more human that you’d give him credit for.
Unlike Fanny Schmelar, this brilliant moment didn’t make it into the actual episode – but it is still as glorious as any of the other mishaps that we have seen on the show.
