How DO they do it? Miss USA contestants gorge on burgers and ice cream sundaes days before bikini round warm-up
A week before their bikini round warm-up, this year's Miss USA contestants got their final fast food fix.
The pageant beauties, aged 19 to 26, were photographed at various diners on the Las Vegas strip tucking into giant hamburgers, bowls of meatballs and towering mountains of ice cream.
But from now on they will no doubt be keeping an eye on what they eat, as they battle it out in the preliminary contest running up to this Sunday's final.

Fifty-one hopefuls - representing their respective states and Washington, D.C. - will be whittled down to 15 semi-finalists over the coming days.
The prelims involve interviews as well as various competition rounds.
Last night they walked the stage at Planet Hollywood in the swimsuit and evening gown categories.

It was the first time they were all seen together in their pageant wardrobes since their arrival in Nevada almost two weeks ago.
On Monday, Miss USA pageant owner Donald Trump and his president, Paula Shugart, revealed the judges for Sunday's live NBC telecast.
The panel includes Biggest Loser's fitness expert Bob Harper; famed fashion designer Betsey Johnson and feisty reality star NeNe Leakes from Bravo's Real Housewives of Atlanta.

Ms Shugart, said in a statement: 'We have a great show in store for our fans and a diverse lineup of judges to select our next Miss USA.
'We like to bring a mix of talent to the judging panel. It reflects who we are as a country and creates an interesting outcome for the competition.'
E! anchor Giuliana Rancic will co-host the pageant for the third year in a row, along with Nick Jonas of The Jonas Brothers.

Ms Rancic said she admired the girls' confidence. She told The Washington Post: 'They are fit and they take care of themselves, and are proud to be in a bikini . . . Could I do it? No.'
The winner will be crowned by 2012 Miss USA, Nana Meriwether.
The Maryland-based beauty came second place in the competition last June, before taking over from the winner Olivia Culpo, who went on to win Miss Universe.

Through June 15, fans can vote their favorite contestant into the semi-finals, either by going to the official Miss USA Facebook page or www.missusa.com.
The Miss USA beauty contest has been held annually since 1952 to select the U.S. entrant in the Miss Universe pageant.
Donald Trump's Miss Universe Organization operates both pageants, as well as Miss Teen USA.
