Kendall Jenner proved herself to be a proud all-American girl during a visit to the beach on the Fourth of July.
The 17-year-old reality star wore a stars and stripes bikini while frolicking on the sand with friends as she prepared to head out for a body boarding session.
However, while Kendall opted to do her patriotic sartorial duty, her sister Kylie plumped for a more simple pink and black two piece.

The reality TV stars recently relocated to a seaside home in Malibu with their father Bruce after Kim Kardashian, Kanye West and baby North moved into the family mansion in Calabasas with matriarch Kris.
While it's an unusual set-up by any standard, the teens seems to be enjoying their time by the beach.
Kendall posed with a surf board on the sands before taking to the ocean waves, giggling and laughing.

After liberally applying sunscreen with the help of a friend, Kylie later changed into a cropped wetsuit for her turn at surfing.
Their mother Kris Jenner was also keen to get in some seaside action, arriving wrapped up in a sheer bikini cover up and hat.
She spent some time chilling out on the balcony holding a cold beverage with Kylie and a friend.

Kendall is, of course, a fixture on her family's reality TV show, Keeping Up With The Kardashians and the current season documents her efforts to become a high fashion model.
She recently revealed she would consider giving up the show in order to be taken more seriously in the fashion world.
Quizzed whether she would give up TV for the runway, she said: 'I've never gotten that question before. Yeah. Probably.'

She admits her family's notoriety has made it difficult for her to be seen as a high fashion model, but she is intent on working hard to 'prove" herself in the industry.
She explained to V magazine: 'I don't think some people take me very seriously. When I started off, I was way more of a personality in modelling and it wasn't like, what I wanted to be exactly.
'I want to be more high fashion; I want to be more editorial, but hopefully I'll just prove myself.'

And the fledgling model has certainly set her sights high in the fashion world, revealing that her 'ultimate dream' would be to front a campaign for top fashion brands Chanel or Dolce & Gabbana.
Asked about her fashionable aspirations, she said: 'I mean, of course the big ones; Chanel and Dolce & Gabbana. All those big ones are my ultimate dream.'
Meanwhile, Kylie has hit out after being linked to Jaden Smith and more recently Lil Twist after being seen getting frozen yoghurt with him in Los Angeles.
'Media always making it seem like I'm dating everyone I'm seen with,' she tweeted. 'Makes no sense to me. Don't listen to everything u see, people.'
