Case dismissed! Selena Gomez' protracted legal dispute with broke perfume company has been 'thrown out of court'.... but could still cost her millions
Selena, 20, counter-sued the Florida based company in May after they accused her of backing out of a multi-million dollar endorsement deal for a new perfume, to be sold in her name.
Adrenalina claim they invested more than $2 million into the manufacture and marketing of the fragrance after she agreed to be spokesperson for the brand in 2011.

Case dismissed: A legal dispute between Selena Gomez and perfume company Adrenalina, Inc, has been thrown out of court
Part of that marketing strategy included running a competition that gave fans the opportunity to have a say in the development of Selena’s perfume.
The company – which is now out of business – claim Selena failed to honour a promotional appearance at Macy’s in Miami, as well as further promotional obligations across Mexico.
They also claim the singer and actress’s management company, July Moon, sent them a letter stating the Disney star would terminate her contact within 30-days.
That decision, they say, had a domino effect that led to manufacturer Victory International handing them a $1.2 million lawsuit for the production of Selena’s fragrance.

Selena counter-sued the company in April, claiming she backed out of the deal after the company owed her $5.2 million in lost earnings because the business deal fell apart.
A source told gossip website TMZ that Selena has filed a countersuit against the company claiming she only backed out because Adrenalina was going broke and couldn't afford to manufacture or market her perfume line.
According to court documents filed by her attorney Michael Weinsten, Adrenalina promised to pay the Spring Breakers star 5per cent royalty on sales of all Selena-brand scents, and guaranteed her minimum earnings of $5.2million.
Her legal team insists Selena only terminated her contract with the company to protect her reputation after she discovered it could barely afford to pay its own employees.
TMZ say they have since obtained more documents which show the case has been thrown out of court, but claim Selena may well have to dig deep in order to settle the lawsuit.
