'Are you guys hippies?': Naturist couple Billy Bottle and Martine send the audience into a frenzy on The Voice UK... as Rita Ora asks if they live outside

Saturday night's episode of The Voice UK was certainly filled with a mixed bag of contestants.

And perhaps the most unique hopefuls of all were naturists Billy Bottle and Martine, a married couple with a particular kind of stage presence.

The twosome, who enjoy being naked and act as life models for art classes, hit the stage in their colourful get-ups and performed their version of Snap's I Got The Power.

Giving it their all, they whipped the audience into a frenzy, seriously impressing with their powerful vocals as well as their violin and guitar skills.

And the coaches enjoyed their performance too, although none of the four music stars turned around.

After their performance, Sir Tom Jones, Rita Ora, Ricky Wilson and will.i.am got a look at the duo, and were seemingly all distraught that they hadn't turned their chairs for the husband-and-wife act.

Black Eyed Peas hitmaker will.i.am couldn't believe his eyes as he asked for their name.

'That is a superstar name!' he exclaimed when he learned of Billy Bottle's stage moniker.

He then went on to tell him just how much he loved his outfit, which consisted of a pair of bright orange leggings, blue shorts, green shoes and a pink, puffy bodywarmer.

The coaches then ask for the female singer's name, who reveals she is called Martine, but Rita mistakenly heard it as 'Martini'.

Amazed: Rita seemed stunned by the couple and asked if they were hippies, and if they live outside

Twitter-savvy will.i.am promptly decided to follow the act on the social networking site before hopping up on the stage to take a selfie with the Devon couple.

And, clearly still flabbergasted by their appearance and performance Rita asked: 'You guys... do you like, live outside?'

After revealing they 'sometimes do', and that they live on a farm, the I Will Never Let You Down hitmaker questioned further.

'So, you guys are like, hippies?' she pressed, slightly confused.

She added: 'Do you like to get naked, and protest?'

Martine quipped back: 'We just like to go to beaches, or clubs.'

Sadly for the double act, they didn't have a single offer to remain in the BBC1 singing show, despite the interest from the coaches after their big reveal.
