His performance as transgender artist Lili Ebbe has earned him another Best Actor nomination at The Oscars.
But Eddie Redmayne has revealed that he's never experienced anything like playing Newt Scamander in J.K. Rowling's Harry Potter spin-off, Fantastic Beasts.
During a new sneak-peak featurette for the highly anticipated film, the 34-year-old marvels at the film, saying: 'This world, it's been a wonder really - it's just unlike anything I’ve ever been a part of.'

And it seems that it's not just Eddie who has also fallen in love with J.K.'s creation, as his co-star, Alison Sudol, reveals she become so accustomed to using a wand she's forgotten that she's actually a real-life muggle.
Sharing the premise of the film (due in November), David Yates reveals that the first film in the new magical trilogy will focus on Newt, Queenie and Porpentina Goldstein and Jacob a No-maj or muggle (a non magical person).

Newt (Eddie) is the author of Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, a textbook Harry has to read while attending Hogwarts.
The book is required on the syllabus for students of Hogwarts and contains descriptions of 85 magical creatures.
And the film is set to chart a young Newt's adventures in New York before he writes the school staple.
Also starring Naomie Harris and Colin Farrell, the film looks set to delight Potter fans, as Rowling expands the universe she built around the boy who lived, Harry Potter.
