Lily James looks elegant as ever in a modest patterned dress as she joins boyfriend Matt Smith at Pride And Prejudice And Zombies photocall
Her new flick Pride And Prejudice And Zombies sees her battles a terrifying zombie menace.
But on Friday, actress Lily James was the image of peace and serenity as she attended a photo call for the film at the London Hotel in West Hollywood.
The 26-year-old wore a grey and black floral dress with see-through panels that revealed a sexy mesh underlay - a sexy-yet-sophisticated look that must have pleased her boyfriend and fellow cast member Matt Smith.

A flower in bloom: On Friday actress Lily James attended a photo call for her latest film Pride and Prejudice and Zombies at the London Hotel in West Hollywood
The starlet added a splash of colour with crimson heels and cinched her dress above the waist to help define her silhouette.
Her high collar gave her a regal quality, while a low-key make-up job - rosy lips and a touch of mascara - let her natural beauty shine.
Perhaps best known for her turn as the free-spirited Lady Rose Aldridge in Downton Abbey, Lily goes gory in Pride and Prejudice and Zombies.
Based on the 2009 book of the same name, it parodies the 1813 British novel Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen.
Lily portrays the heroine Elizabeth Bennet, who is reinvented as a master of martial arts and weaponry who must fight the undead along with her sisters.
Peek-a-boo: Her black-and-grey floral dress included see-through portions that exposed black mesh underlay
Suited and booted: Matt Smith met Lily on the set of the film last year and their romance blossomed. He wore a dark blue suit with brown leather shoes to the photo call, and added edge with a silver chain and black tee
Together again: Matt Smith, Jack Huston, Bella Heathcote, Lily James and Douglas Booth posed for photographs the day after their film premiered in Los Angeles
Lily, who played Cinderella in Disney's 2015 remake of the fairy tale, told Marie Claire that she hesitated when first approached about the Jane Austen-zombie mashup.
'When I saw the e-mail from my agent, I was like, This sounds terrible! Then within 20 pages of the script, I thought, This is so cool!'
The gore was certainly worth it for Lily, who met her boyfriend Matt Smith on the set of the film last year.
The former Doctor Who star portrays Mr Collins, the cowardly parson of the village who no one wants to marry.
Looking good: Matt Smith looked suave inside the London Hotel in West Hollywood
Last July he told ScreenSlam that the cast, which also includes Suki Waterhouse, Bella Heathcote, Douglas Booth and Jack Huston, had an unusually good time together.
'We we had a lot of fun at work and a lot of fun after work. Work hard, play hard. It was a fantastic time.'
He also suggested that he finds empowered and confident women sexy - which might explain why he was drawn to Lily.
'What I like about [the film] is that the girls are kind of sexy and kickass and there's a real strength and sort of power and womanhood about it,' he said.
Casual chic: Douglas Booth dressed his suit down with a white tee and matching trainers
Go for gold: Australian actress Bella Heathcote looked ravishing in a shiny pleated skirt
Swagger: Jack Huston, perhaps best known for his role in the HBO series Boardwalk Empire, wore black boots with zips on the side
Friends reunited: The Pride and Prejudice and Zombies co-stars shared a laugh at their photo call
