She has never been one to shy away from a fashion statement.
And Zendaya proved her sartorial worth once again as she shimmered in a midnight blue embellished dress at the 27th Annual GLAAD Media Awards 2016 on Saturday night.
The 19-year-old singer showed off her endless pins in the thigh-split number and went retro with polished 20s style curls as she posed on the red carpet at the Beverly Hilton Hotel.

She stunned in a David Koma dress with an intricately bedazzled front and a double front-split hem with two zippers that revealed a tantalizing amount of toned leg.
Popping a limb to one side, the model co-ordinated the garment with some strappy navy Jimmy Choo heels.
Zendaya styled her edgy cropped 'do in vintage-inspired curls that undulated near her hairline.
She emphasized her peepers with lashings of mascara and iridescent bronze shimmer, opting for a peach blush for her cheeks and a nude shimmer to plump her pout.

The teen star looked at ease as she posed up a storm for the red carpet of the awards - which recognize and honour media for their fair representations of the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender community.
Other stars at the influential event included actress Ruby Rose, Lea Michele, Caitlyn Jenner and Queen Latifah.
It was a big night for Australian actress Ruby, who was being honoured with the GLAAD's Stephen F. Kolzak Award, which is presented to an LGBT media professional who has made a significant difference in promoting equality and acceptance for the community.

The recording artist appeared over the moon to help recognise Ruby's impact on helping further understanding and acceptance of the LGBT community.
