Giovanni Pernice snuggles up to Laura Whitmore for a VERY sultry Cha Cha as the Irish presenter gushes over her 'gorgeous' partner on Strictly Come Dancing

Look away, Georgia! Giovanni Pernice snuggles up to Laura Whitmore for a VERY sultry Cha Cha as the Irish presenter gushes over her 'gorgeous' partner on Strictly Come Dancing

He's been flooded with female attention since splitting from Georgia May Foote.
And Giovanni Pernice found himself another admirer in the form of Laura Whitmore, as the Irish presenter marveled over her 'gorgeous' partner.
Taking to the floor as the first couple on Friday's episode of Strictly Come Dancing, the 31-year-old blonde beauty and the Italian dancer sent pulses racing as they tore around the floor.

Perfectly paired: He's been flooded with female attention since splitting from Georgia May Foote. And Giovanni Pernice found himself another admirer in the form of Laura Whitmore, as the Irish presenter marveled over her 'gorgeous' partner
Despite admitting she was 'extremely nervous' ahead of the show, Laura managed to impress the judges with her moves, in particular Bruno Tonioli, who seemed to get very hot under the collar.
Following their Cha Cha to Shocking Blue's Venus, the judge purred: 'Carry on like this and I'll need a fire extinguisher!'
He added: 'You were like a love goddess toying with the boy you little tease!'

Their performance also wowed Len Goodman, who described the scenes as 'first out, first class', whilst Darcey Bussell remarked that Laura was 'sweet and sassy.'
Unsurprisingly, there was on judge who wasn't quite as forthcoming with the compliments, as Craig Revel Horwood remarked the dance was 'unstable'.
Whilst all eyes may have been on the pair as they waltzed around the floor, Laura only had eyes for her partner, who she claimed was 'gorgeous' as she teased that there 'could be some fights'.

All in all, the show received a lukewarm response, with the pair coming third on the leader board with a score of 24.
One viewer who was no doubt particularly intrigued by the dance would have been Giovanni's ex-girlfriend Georgia, who he began dating after they were partnered on the show.
Luck of the Irish: Laura showed off some Irish dance moves as Italian Giovanni picked up the routine

Georgia confirmed her split with Giovanni via Twitter in August, with the duo insisting that there is no third party involved in their separation.
She wrote: 'It is with great sadness we have decided to split up. There is nobody else involved.
'Although it was not an easy decision to make, sometimes you realise that it is better to be friends and this is one of those times.
'We both have very busy work schedules for the rest of the year so we are both going to focus on our upcoming work projects and we wish each other well for the future.'
Cha-cha-change it up: Giovanni has been partnered with Laura the year after he danced with Georgia May Foote - who he went on to date. The pair announced their split last month, claiming there were 'no third parties' involved
