Michelle Keegan on Mark Wright's reaction to 'cringe' sex scenes

He's seen me kiss LOADS of guys': Michelle Keegan on Mark Wright's reaction to 'cringe' sex scenes, 'silly' break-up rumours and why she's glad to be brunette again

She is seen getting hot and heavy with co-star Luke Pasqualino in the opening scenes of her new drama, Our Girl.
But Michelle Keegan has confessed it was far more awkward for her parents to watch the scenes than her husband Mark Wright - as he's used to seeing her with other men.
Speaking on Wednesday's episode of This Morning, the 29-year-old actress revealed: 'Everyone makes a big deal of [Mark seeing this content] but he's seen me kiss loads of guys.'

She explained:  'My Coronation Street character went with a lot of guys. It's my job, I can't just turn around and say, "I don't want to do this."'
Revealing her mum and dad's reaction wasn't as chilled, she laughed: 'With parents watching it’s so cringe! We had a screening a couple of days ago in Manchester and my parents came, but luckily I wasn’t sat anywhere near them, but my brother was… and it's one of the first opening scenes.
'My brother said he didn’t look at them once and there was silence. So yeah it was quite embarrassing!'

Michelle was also keen to speak out about the reports her marriage to Mark was faltering, as she dismissed the rumours as 'silly', and 'frustrating.'
Explaining why she didn't wear her wedding ring whilst she was apart from her husband and filming in South Africa, she explained: ‘I was living in hotel rooms at the time so I just didn't bring [my ring] with me in case it got stolen.'
But whilst her hectic career has stopped her from spending as much time with her husband, she revealed that Mark had helped her out when working on ITV drama Tina & Bobby.
'He's a big, big West Ham fan, he knew who Bobby Moore was and who all the footballers were,' she explained. 'He was so excited [by the part], all his friends are fans and he knew all of the wives too. Our house is literally right near where they used to live.'

But whilst Michelle may have enjoyed working on the programme, she had no regrets about losing the blonde locks she sported for the role.
Told by Holly Willougby that blonde hair really suited her, Michelle responded: 'I don’t think I did.'
Asked if blondes really do have more fun, she responded: 'I don’t know because I was working and didn’t really go out that much.
'So I should have really embraced it and gone out a few more times… but I’m back to feeling like me again now being brunette.'

Earlier in the day, Michelle reiterated her claims that everything was going well between herself and Mark as she put on a cosy display with her man at the The Radio 1 studios.
Striding out first, the former Coronation Street star clutched onto a coffee, whilst Mark couldn't seem to keep his hands to himself.
Pulling his wife of 15 months close to him and resting his hands on her hips, the TOWIE star, 29 seemed in good spirits.
It was no wonder Mark couldn't stay away from Michelle as she looked effortlessly chic in a navy floral blouse and khaki jeans.
She rounded off the look with some grey accessories in the form of heeled boots and a small shoulder bag.

Michelle's face lit up as she strode out with her man, after defending their marriage on The Radio 1 Breakfast Show with Nick Grimshaw.
Discussing the rumours they were on the brink of divorce, Michelle said: 'It’s so annoying and the thing is I don’t even read it anymore.
'There’s only so many times you can say it’s not true, I’m not wearing my ring because if this…'
She added: 'Commenting fuels it even more. Leave it. Let them do it. It’s the negativity of it that gets to me. There’s more to life than being negative and putting a negative spin on it.'
Finishing touches: She rounded off the look with some grey accessories in the form of heeled boots and a small shoulder bag whilst Mark looked stylish in a camel coloured T-shirt

The brunette beauty also revealed she had asked Mark not to join her in South Africa whilst she filmed Our Girl.
Michelle lived abroad for six months whilst filming the series - which is when the split rumours first began - but the star revealed she chose not to have him around.
'He was initially going to come out the first week but I said I needed to go on my own,' she explained. 'I’ve never lived away from home and I needed to find my feet.
'I think if he would have come out with me then and then left me, I would have got homesick.'

Split rumours also surfaced amid claims Michelle was growing increasingly close to her Our Girl co-star Luke Pasqualino - who is dating Little Mix's Perrie Edwards.
Reports surfaced claiming Luke had dodged the BBC series premiere in a bid to avoid questions about their union, although representatives for BBC and Luke told MailOnline his absence was down to work commitments.
Sources told The Sun: 'Michelle and Luke obviously formed a close bond while being away from home for so long. But he just wants to the talk to be about his performances, not face the inevitable questions about his relationship with Michelle. His responses could fuel even more rumours.'
