Her outfit was certainly fitting for the occasion.
To promote her newest book Girls Get Curves - Geometry Takes Shape, Danica McKellar showed off her own curves in a skintight sky blue dress as she took the stage at University of Southern California in Los Angeles on Saturday.
The 38-year-old - known for her role as Winnie on The Wonder Years - split from her husband of three years, composer Mike Verta, in February.

But that didn't stop her from looking better than ever as she made her presentation on mathematics.
As the smiling New York Times bestselling author took the stage, her bubbly personality wasn't what caught the audience's attention so much as her sculpted stems that peeked through her knee-length cut-out frock.
Elongating her bronzed pins - that also peeked through the slit in the back of her dress - the mathematician wore sky-high nude platform pumps.

To jazz up her look, Danica wore a full face of make-up, including a brink pink lipstick that gave an additional pop of colour.
She certainly had a blast during her time on stage, snapped pumping her arm up in the air and flashing her pearly whites throughout.
At one point, the star stopped to ponder and get he audience engaged, putting her hand on her hip and then tilting her head to the side as she stuck her arm out in an inquisitive motion.
This is Danica's fourth book she's promoted, putting the stereotype 'math nerd' to shame by showing young girls how to ace their math exams and feel confident about doing so.

The actress filed for divorce last June, but according to court documents obtained by TMZ, a judge granted the divorce two months ago.
A sealed pre-nup that the couple signed in March 2009 was also still deemed valid by the judge.
In the pre-nup, the former couple are said to have laid out a custody and support agreement in relation to their two-year-old son, Draco.

After filing for divorce last year, Danica took to her official website to thank her fans for all their well wishes and messages of support.
She wrote: 'The end of a marriage has got to be one of the saddest events one can experience – I’ve heard that the pain is second only to an actual death in the family, and that sounds about right.
'However, I am so grateful that my relationship with my ex, Mike Verta, has been nothing but amicable, and that this process seems like it will be as smooth as can be hoped for.
'We are both totally in love with our little boy, and believe this is the best thing for him. Thank you again for all your support.'
