'I love the possibility that someone could actually die': Simon Cowell jokes as Ant McPartlin nearly has his head sliced off on BGT
He probably thought it would be an easy gig hosting Britain's Got Talent with his sidekick Declan Donnelly.
However, Anthony McPartlin ended up terrified on Saturday's episode of the ITV talent show when he feared he may end up with his head sliced off.
Contestant Aaron Crow picked Ant as a volunteer for one of his terrifying acts involving a sword.

The Geordie had to balance a pineapple on his head while Aaron attempted to slice it with a sword.
To make matters even more scary, Aaron had poured candle wax in his eyes before covering his face with a mask.
Despite the dangerous nature of the task, fortunately Ant survived with his head intact, to the disappointment to teasing Simon.

The music mogul said: 'I love the idea of watching something where there is a possibility that someone actually could actually die, and the fact that it was Ant made it more exciting, I've got to be honest with you.'
However, Ant wasn't so excited playing guinea pig during Aaron's audition.
He said: 'I was genuinely terrified as Aaron was coming towards me.

'All credit to Aaron though, it was an incredible act. Everyone was on the edge of their seats.'
Meanwhile, Simon's eye was caught by an adorable dog act during the auditions.
Although viewers will have to wait and see what Simon thought of the dog's owners, he enjoyed a cuddle with the cute pooch, who was named Johnny Cash.
Britain's Got Talent is on ITV1 on Saturday 27 April at 7pm.
