Chic cyclist: Kimberley Walsh looks stylish on her bike as she kicks off Sky Ride event in wide legged jeans and heels
It's not quite the attire you usually associate with cycling, but then not everyone's a pop star from Girls Aloud.
Kimberley Walsh took it upon herself to encourage others to cycle on Sunday morning as she kick started the Sky Ride event in Leeds.
The singer has been signed up to promote bike riding in local areas, and she certainly seemed to be enjoying her own cycle as she rode at the head of the crowd.

Kimberley, 31, ensured she looked stylish for the event, adamant on enticing women they can cycle and still look good.
She opted for a pair of wide legged denim trousers with a colourful strappy top, while she even wore a pair of white heels on her feet.
The shoes matched her white helmet as she practiced what she preached by staying safe on the roads.

Although she somehow managed to avoid the dreaded hat hair as she still looked immaculate with wavy locks when she took it off again.
Walsh smiled at the passing crowds, who held up banners to support her on her way.
She could be seen cycling at the front with scores of other cyclists following behind her.

Kimberley spoke about the campaign to the MailOnline last month, saying: 'I’m doing this to raise awareness of cycling and its benefits – it’s such a great way to bring people together and promote a healthy way of living.'
The Bike Ride allows cyclists a safe period to take to a planned route for traffic free cycling.

Landmarks and normally busy roads are given over for the pure enjoyment of those who prefer cycling around on two weeks, rather than driving around on four.
'There are going to be events up and down the country and I’m going to be attending the one in Leeds,' Kimberley revealed.
'They’re closing down all of the streets around the area which is great so families are able to ride without worrying about traffic. It’s going to really fun and I’m going to be there encouraging people.'
