Cosy chic! Leggy Daisy Lowe launches Wool's Knit Nation in London and outs herself as a celebrity knitting fan
Little surprise then the leggy 24-year-old London born model was brought in to help launch Wool's Knit Nation on Monday at London's premiere shopping district.
Daisy's great gift is not only that she can wear anything, but she can wear it well. Posing in front and inside the Oxford St John Lewis store, Daisy pulled off an over-sized woollen sweater layered over a leather mini-skirt. On top she wrapped herself in a comfy, warm black scarf with tassles still remaining very much the epitome of cool.
Completing the cosy chic look were a pair of black and grey knee-high boots which gave Daisy a swinging sixties splash of panache.

Love the locks! Daisy made her look effortless and boho but still very much on trend
For the launch Daisy tied her enviable long brunette locks into a loose side ponytail giving her an even more coquettish air than usual.
With a knowing nod to nearby Carnaby Street in the 60s, leggy Daisy proved the timeless appeal of woollen fashion, especially when teamed with the right sexy skirt and boots.

Thanks a bunch! Daisy calls Joseph Reubens her 'best friend/best human'
To celebrate Wool Week 2013 (14th–20th October), John Lewis Oxford Street and Edinburgh are running a week of free fashion focused knitting classes and drop-ins hosted by leading UK knitting brands. There will be instruction and information on how to use bright colours and the new techniques being utilised to create high fashion patterns.
In addition there is live knitting all week in the John Lewis Oxford Street window as knitters stitch their way around a plain white living room scene, transforming it into a woollen wonderland. Alongside knit fantatic Daisy Lowe is Made In Chelsea star Oliver Proudlock who is also joining in the fun.
With Ryan Gosling also admitting to a love for knitting, for the first time there will also be a 'Men Only' knitting class at John Lewis. The course will focus on teaching beanie hats and chunky scarf knitting for men as well as children.
She's got the look! Daisy's all smiles and perhaps the reason why is the not-so-mystery man in her life now, composer Joseph Reuben
Big thumbs up! Daisy can't help wearing a big grin on her face these days after revealing who her mystery man is
With Daisy proudly out as the fashionable face of woollen wear, it seems she has also finally acknowledged who the 'mystery man' in her life is.
After having previously dated Dr Who actor Matt Smith and acclaimed DJ/producer Mark Ronson, last week Daisy was spotted enjoying a stroll with a close companion on Hampstead Heath.
Over the weekend she tweeted that she was 'so proud of my mystery man/best friend/best human' outing him as handsome composer Joseph Reuben'.

On her Twitter feed Daisy even provides a link to an interview with Joseph that he undertook for fashionsta bible website Refinery29. One of the musical pieces Joseph makes mention of during the article is tellingly titled Call Your Girlfriend.
'I heard it with [my friend] in New York. We were together, and she had been playing the song — she had a broken heart or something,' he relates coyly. 'We were a little bit drunk together, and she was quite sad. I didn't really get the emotional part of the song until a little bit later on. I had my heart broken. Then I saw that song from my own point of view — my own personal feelings, and that allowed me to cover it. I put a lot of heart into that.'
Joseph also revealed he has just finished writing a ballet which he announced will be performed next year in London. Expect his biggest fan, knit nut Daisy, to be front row on opening night.
