But Charli XCX still managed to turn heads when she stepped performed live at the Spotify Opening Gig as part of Advertising Week Europe on Monday.

The brunette chart star, whose hits include Boom, Clap!, took to the stage in London where she delighted fans - both visually and sonically.

Her latest show comes just days after she wowed fans during Katie Perry's Prismatic tour's top in Hamburg, Germany - where she featured as the support act.

Meanwhile, despite her recent success, Charli has admitted that behind closed doors, she suffers with terrible mood swings and severe bouts of anxiety.

Speaking to zeit.de, she said: 'It drives me crazy. These mood swings are a nightmare and I'm not really sure what triggers them.

'Sometimes my changing moods do help me to be creative, though. But most of the time I just want to punch a wall. Either way; my mood depends very much on my surroundings.'
