Twice as nice! Ciara wows in slinky gown at Black Girls Rock event... before changing into unusual outfit to perform for the crowd
It was her singing talent that brought Ciara to the Black Girls Rock event on Saturday night, but her fashion was just as memorable.
The 29-year-old singer walked the carpet in one dress - a slinky black number - in Newark, New Jersey.
But when she took to the stage, Ciara had changed into a stunning white gown that combined both trousers and a skirt to great effect.

Ciara was impossible to miss upon her entrance, with loose, black hair flowing all the way down the singer's back.
A minimalist black dress was held up with spaghetti straps and fell in straight lines to the floor.
That dress' opposite was on display when the Love Sex Magic singer came on to perform sporting a white top with a deep V-neck, worn with white trousers and a floor-length white half-skirt.

Ciara was one of the performers brought in to entertain at Black Girls Rock, which honours women of colour in the fields of entertainment, sports, philanthropy, and community service.
Other performers included Fantasia, Jill Scott, Erykah Badu, and Faith Evans, while First Lady Michelle Obama was present to speak at the event.
Honourees included actresses Cicely Tyson and Jada Pinkett Smith, filmmaker Ava DuVernay, educator Nadia Lopez, and philanthropist Dr. Helene D. Gaye.
Airing on BET on April 5, the Black Girls Rock event was hosted by Tracee Ellis Ross and Regina King.
