Alongside the title of Michael Fassbender's girlfriend, when the year comes to an end she will have starred in a total of seven films.
So it's no wonder that when Alicia Vikander, 26, sat down for a chat with W Magazine she spoke candidly about her Academy Awards aspirations for 2016.
Covering the April issue of the publication, the 26-year-old told how she expected nothing less than three of her movies to be nominated as she flashed her toned torso in a retro themed shoot.

Preened to perfection as she stuns in the sixties styled shoot, Alicia wears her bouffant brunette tresses back out of her face with the help of a black hair bow.
Going for winged smoky eyes and white liner, the Swedish beauty is the picture of flawless as she dons a nude coloured pout.
Wearing a mini dress that features a heavily sequinned top and a lace skirt with a pair of white tights, Vikander does well to showcase her slender frame.

Set to star in Ex Machina, The Man from U.N.C.L.E. and Tulip Fever, as Alicia told her interviewer Lynn Hirschberg that she has her sights set on the 88th Academy Awards.
She boldly stated: 'Next year, the Oscars will be interesting. If all goes well, I’m going to have three films in contention.'
So far in her budding film career, Alicia has starred alongside Kit Harington, Eddie Redmayne and her off screen boyfriend Michael Fassbender.

With regards to her rising stardom, Vikander said that while she has enjoyed her quiet fame she is ready to embrace all that comes with making it big in the industry.
The Gothenburg born beauty said: 'I’ve had many years of working a lot without being in the public eye. And that’s been good. 
'But by this time next year, I think things are going to change. I expect to be busy. I’m ready to be a bit more known.'
