'I'll do sex scenes or go topless': Georgia May Foote reveals she'll do what it takes to make it in Hollywood as she prepares to leave Coronation Street after five years
She's about to leave Coronation Street after appearing on the soap for nearly five years.
But instead of feeling fear at the unknown, Georgia May Foote is bursting with excitement over her future acting prospects, and has opened up about just how dedicated she is to her craft.
Speaking to The Sun, the soap actress - whose final scenes as Katy Armstrong will air on Friday - she admitted that she'd do something many others wouldn't, for the right part.

Big ambition: Georgia May Foote is moving to LA to pursue a career in the States after starring on Coronation Street for five years, and has admitted she'd do 'sex scenes' and would 'go topless' for the right role
'I'm not really bothered about sex scenes or going topless. If it's something groundbreaking and worth it, that's what you have to do,' she said to the newspaper's Will Payne, full of ambition.
'But I am not going to say I'll whip my top off for the sake of it! I'll wait for the right part.'
Georgia, 24, has set her sights on a glittering career in Los Angeles, and is relocating over there to seek out her ideal role, and preferably in a movie.
'I'm looking for the dream part rather than the dream show. A film would be unbelievable. That's my dream but we'll have to see,' she added.
Popular character: Georgia played the role of Katy Armstrong for nearly five years, going through several tough storylines during her time on the ITV soap
The brunette beauty recently broke off her engagement with long-term partner John Sage, ahead of her move to Hollywood.
She had surprised her fellow Corrie cast-mates at her leaving party in February, as she filmed her final scenes as the tenacious Katy, by revealing the end of her romance and also that she was looking forward to her career in America.
It was also revealed that she is working on her dialect with a coach so she can take on several different accents for potential roles in the US.
The ambitious young star further claimed that she could perhaps go back to the ITV soap at some point in the future, as her character is merely moving away to Portugal rather than being killed off, but that it's not something that she'd like to do.
Georgia is following in the footsteps of many ex-soap stars before her, attempting to carve out a career across the pond in tricky-to-break Hollywood.
Newly-single: The gorgeous 24-year-old recently separated from her long-term partner and fiance ahead of her move to Hollywood
It was previously reported that she is keen to emulate the life and work of Catherine Zeta-Jones in particular, who quit her role on TV programme The Darling Buds Of May back in the 1990s to work in America, becoming a big-screen success.
Speaking during an appearance on This Morning around the time she was filming her last scenes on Corrie, Georgia said of her departure from the popular ITV soap: 'I'm very excited. I'm a bit sad as well, obviously I'm going to miss loads of people, the crew, the production team, my cast mates and all that, but I'm ready.
'It's been nearly five years now so it's a long stint to do there and I'm excited.'
Georgia's character Katy has young son Joseph with her ex Chesney Brown, and she will ditch the cobbles of Weatherfield for the sunshine of Portugal.
She's thought to be going with her son against Chesney's wishes, after reconciling with her absent mother Linda Armstrong - played by former EastEnders star Jacqueline Leonard.
She makes her decision after discovering her dad Owen Armstrong secretly prevented Katy and her sister Izzy from having a relationship with their mum.
No looking back? Georgia May is keen to emulate the career of Catherine Zeta-Jones, who had success in Hollywood after appearing on British TV show The Darling Buds Of May
