It was rumoured back in April but now it’s been confirmed that Eddie Redmayne has been cast in Harry Potter prequel Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them.
The Oscar-winning actor will play Newt Scamander in the upcoming film project based on J.K. Rowling’s prequel to the famous Harry Potter franchise.
Newt Scamander features in the Harry Potter books as the first-ever magizoologist of the wizarding world and his textbook, Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them, was used by Harry Potter and friends in Hogwarts.
In the film, fans will see him creating this textbook as he explores the world for magical creatures which he can document in the book.
