She's always played it safe with her elegant look, particularly when it comes to her hair.

But Kimberley Walsh will no doubt turn heads with her new 'do after unveiling a sweet summer look in the form of an eye-catching bubblegum pink hairstyle on her Instagram page on Tuesday.

The 33-year-old singer - who is mum to nine-month-old son Bobby - pouted into the lens as she debuted her wacky new locks in the revealing light of day.

With her long bob styled to perfection in a mane of cascading curls, the former Girls Aloud star seemed pleased as punch with the somewhat out of character new addition to her normally straight-laced look.

Flashing a cheeky grin at the camera, Kimberley went for an understated look with her make-up, using a palette of nudes and light pinks to highlight her freshly-dyed hair.

The former Strictly Come Dancing star wrote alongside the fun new style: '#newlook #summer #pink.'

Kimberley, who gave birth to son Bobby, her first child with fiancé Justin Scott, in September 2014, took part in the West End LIVE show, in London, over the weekend.

Appearing at the event, she sang hits from Elf: The Musical in which she starred, and was still sporting her familiar golden tresses.

Wearing a flattering black jumpsuit at the summer concert, the chart-topper looked slim and stylish in her choice of attire.

Featuring a plunging neckline with exposed her shoulders, the look also boasted baggy legs, which offered a particularly flattering cut.

Wearing her ombre hair down in a bed-head style, she certainly made an effort for the occasion.

Clearly proud of her involvement in the event - which takes the best bits of London's stage theatre out to the people - she later took to Twitter with a message of support.

She wrote: 'WestEndLIVE is such an important & wonderful celebration of theatre. Now we need 'UK Theatre Live' to celebrate all our theatres nationwide'.

The multi-talented star, who also competed on Strictly Come Dancing in 2012, recently told Hello! magazine that former Girls Aloud bandmates Cheryl Fernandez-Versini and Nicola Roberts will be bridesmaids at her forthcoming wedding to Justin.

Speaking to the magazine, she revealed that she has told her pals that they are more than welcome to take a turn at playing the part of the wedding singer at the nuptials.

She explained: 'I said to them, "If either of you feel like doing a turn, just let me know". I don't want anyone to feel under pressure, but it would be fun.'
