ROLLERS in the deep! Adele shares rare backstage pics of herself undergoing hair and make-up before live show in France

She rarely reveals her private side.
But British singer/songwriter Adele treated fans to a rare glimpse of her life behind-the-scenes, last week - with two stunning black and white shots.
Showing her undergoing hair and make-up, the London-born songstress posted the images to Instagram on Monday, following her performance at the NRJ Awards in France.

The first image sees her sat in a chair while a hairdresser teases her hair into a series of rollers, while a make-up artist paints her nails.
Unsurprisingly, the moody-yet-playful shot was liked more than 180,000 times.
A second photograph, which was a close-up of her hands, showed off her bejeweled nails with the word 'Paradise' tattooed under her little finger.

The images came shortly before Adele's first live performance in three years.
Following a three year touring hiatus, the chart-topper performed at the NRJ Awards, in France, on Saturday night.
Taking to the stage at the awards ceremony in Cannes, the 27-year-old award-winning singer stole the show with a searing live rendition of her chart-topping single, Hello.

Hello...again! Adele continued her return to form with her second live performance - after a three year touring hiatus - at the NRJ Awards, in France, on Saturday night
Hello...again! Adele continued her return to form with her second live performance - after a three year touring hiatus - at the NRJ Awards, in France, on Saturday night
After taking a break from music, in which she lived a relatively secluded and sheltered life, the London-born star followed up her first performance of the smash-hit with an appearance in France.
Returning to the stage in the presence of fellow world-dominating pop stars: Justin Bieber, Ed Sheeran and Ellie Goulding, the Skyfall singer wowed crowds with a stripped-back but emotive set.
Taking to the stage in an all-black ensemble, the BRIT Award-winning artist looked perfectly at ease as she belted out her new single confidently - showcasing her amazing vocal skills.
With her strawberry blonde mane perfectly coiffed into long tumbling flicks, Adele channelled an understated look as she took to the stage in a fitted, shimmering black A-Line midi dress.

Wearing a Giorgio Armani Privé black silk jacquard cocktail dress, which featured a lurex threaded plumage effect, the singer managed to channel a uniquely glamorous yet understated style.
Keeping her look simple and stripped-back, yet also glamorous, the chart-topping vocalist opted for an understated pallet of make-up, with only a flash of mascara and blusher highlighting her features.
Eschewing the need for any dancers or pyrotechnics, Adele let her musical ability do all the talking on stage, as she sang Hello with only her backing band and a simple use lighting.
Although this is the first performance to be televised, the singer actually made her live-comeback on a brand new BBC special - yet to be aired.

In a preview clip released earlier this week, the singer pre-recorded a performance for BBC Music, which shows her at her best, singing the song that has broken records and smashed the charts in recent weeks.
Having traded her usual all-black look for something more festive, the stunning British musical phenomenon wows in a glittering khaki green and gold dress.
As ever, she sports a fierce feline-flicked eye and her blonde locks are coiffed to perfection.
Her overall demeanour is one at ease, clearly comfortable at being back in the spotlight and revealing new music for an all-new Adele, one who has grown up over the years since her last record in 2011, 21.

As well as the performance - her first live one since the 2013 Oscars - Adele is interviewed by Graham Norton in the BBC special, and the clip shows her answering questions from the audience about rumours they've heard about her.
One member of the crowd probes her on whether her Twitter account is actually taken care of by her management, rather than herself.
Adele happily replies: 'This is true.'
She goes on to explain: 'I'm not a drinker anymore, but when Twitter first came out, I was drunk tweeting and nearly put my foot in it quite a few times, so my management decided you have to go through two people and then it has to be signed off by someone.
'But they are all my tweets, no one writes my tweets, they just post them for me. '

In the interview, she also talks about finally making her return to music after those few years off, in which she became a mother with boyfriend Simon Koncecki to their son Angelo.
'It was that thing of, do I or don't I want to go back to my music,' she says.
'Obviously I do, and I just wanted to make sure that everything was in place for me to do it so I could do it properly.
'I can't do anything else, this is all that I like doing.'
Adele said of the music special, held in her honour: 'I can't wait for the show. The BBC has been wonderful to me over the years and Graham and I get on great so it's going to be a laugh.'
'I was drunk tweeting': Adele admitted that she doesn't post her own messages on Twitter anymore after almost 'putting her foot in it' back in the day

Host Graham added: 'This is the music event of the year and I'm thrilled to be part of bringing it to BBC One. This opportunity to spend an hour with Adele, her music and her stories is a truly rare treat. If I wasn't hosting this special I'd be sat at home watching it!'
Meanwhile, Adele has continued to smash records with the epic comeback single, selling more than 1.1million digital songs in the first week and becoming the first song ever to break the 1million download mark on the Billboard charts.
Hello is the first single from Adele's upcoming new album to be released this month, and follows a four-year break from music after her 21 album won six Grammy awards and sold more than 30 million copies worldwide.
The catchy song was streamed 47.5 million times globally on Spotify in the first seven days, making it the most-streamed song over a week in the online streaming platform's history.
The music video also broke records at entertainment platform Vevo.com, delivering more than 27 million views in the first 24 hours after its release.
Adele at the BBC airs on BBC1 on Friday November 20, 8.30pm-9.35pm.
