Supermodels at Julien Macdonald's dazzling London Fashion Week show are UPSTAGED by two children - as the designer unveils his new kids' clothing line

It's not often they're upstaged but the supermodels at Julien Macdonald's dazzling London Fashion Week show had to share the limelight with two adorable youngsters on Saturday.
A chorus of 'awws' echoed around London's One Mayfair, an opulent 19th century gothic church, as the children closed the Autumn/Winter 2016 spectacular and unveiled the Welsh designer's new kid's clothing line.
The celebrity-packed audience was given a first glimpse of the 44-year-old's Kardashian-inspired infant collection, which has been created in partnership with Mothercare.

Former Strictly Come Dancing star Julien has dressed the he world's most glamorous women - including Beyonce, Kylie Minogue and Abbey Clancy - and his London Fashion Week presentation is always a must-see.
Hoards of fashionistas waving tickets lined the streets as photographers scuffled to snap the latest A-list arrival outside the grand venue.The likes of Millie Mackintosh, Rochelle Humes, Rosie Fortescue, Alan Carr and Yasmin Le Bon had turned out to see which glittering delights Julien had dreamed up.
As the disco music was dimmed for more ethereal-sounding tunes, 35 models paraded around the camera-wielding audience before congregating at an imposing altar.

Attention-grabbing silver dresses with power shoulder, dramatic floor-length gowns and naval-hitting frocks graced the runway.
Sticking to his tried-and-tested formula, Julien's colour palette was awash with high-shine blacks, stunning golds and striking metallics.
Julien told his Twitter followers he used 'monofilament' with twisted drop stitches in silk and wool to create the contrasting textures that shone under the lights on the catwalk.
For the men, the garments were equally as head-turning. Black visors, sheer knits, buckle-adorned trousers and sequin-encrusted blazers graced the runway.
The excited crowd leapt from their seats during the show finale and began quickly snapping away on their mobiles.

An angelic-looking blonde model dressed in a fluffy white feather skirt, military jacket and ballet shoes stepped onto the runway with a girl in a matching frock and a little boy in a mini black suit and bow tie.
Backstage, Julien revealed he had created a children's collection called Smile, with high-street label Mothercare.
Launching on April 20, it will be available in 70 stores across the UK and in the Middle East. Prices will range from £10 to £50.
'I have such a passion for the design of children's clothes so to collaborate with Mothercare is very exciting,' he said.
'My fabulous designs combine both luxurious fabrics with delicate detailing as well as some gorgeous characters to make children smile.
'The collection features classic new-born pieces, sprinkled with unique touches and playful attention to detail. The entire Smile collection has been lovingly put together for Mothercare's customers.'

Julien's dazzling dresses evoked a lot of excitement from the celebrity-packed audience
He also revealed that he had been inspired to launch a kid's line by a recent visit to Kim Kardashian's house.
'I visited the Kardashians in LA recently and took an outfit for North West and I'm going back to visit again soon,' he said.
'My best friends have also had children lately and to me, above all, family values are really important.'
Dressing high profile names is just part of the day job for Julien.
Gigi Hadid donned a see-through jumpsuit by the designer at a Sports Illustrated swimwear launch in New York recently.
Meanwhile, actress Eva Longoria wore a plunging olive dress from the same collection at the Screen Actors Guild Awards in January.
