The massively successful Eighties TV sitcom Cheers is set for a live theatre reboot.
It's one of three classic CBS shows that will tread the boards in 2016, according to BroadwayWorld.com.
Called Cheers Live On Stage, the touring production will 'showcase classic moments' from the series although the company hasn't confirmed if any original cast - which included Ted Danson, Kirstie Alley and Kelsey Grammer - members will be involved.

The hit TV series premiered in 1982 and ran for 11 seasons before finally putting up the closed sign in 1993. During that time it nabbed 27 Emmy Awards.
Danson starred as playboy bartender Sam at the Boston bar with a strong supporting cast included Alley, Grammer, Woody Harrelson, Shelley Long, Rhea Perlman, George Wendt and John Ratzenberger.
John, who played postal worker Cliff Clavin, talked about the legit version of Cheers at Monday night's premiere of Pixar's Inside Out at El Capital Theatre in Hollywood.

The actor voices Fritz, one of the characters in the animated movie. 
'I just got an email yesterday that CBS is planning a stage show of Cheers,' he told People.
Expanding on the subject a little more, the 68-year-old added: 'It could be good. It could be horrible. 
'If it was a musical, that would be kind of fun, sure. If it's a drama like Tennessee Williams, that would be kind of depressing.'

CBS is also planning stage revivals for Seventies family sitcom The Brady Bunch and Corduroy about a cartoon bear.
'The Brady Bunch and Cheers are two iconic TV shows with a deep connection to fans that is as strong as ever,' CBS's Liz Kalodner said in a statement at the beginning of the month.
'These live adaptations will capitalize on the shows' timeless characters and stories to create something completely new and captivating.'
