'Diets don't work. I just eat healthily little and often. And I have a hardcore trainer who puts me through my paces. I'm like anyone else. Sometimes you feel great and other times you don't.
'I'm learning to cook. It's not my forté, but I try and balance my portion sizes.'
Rachel, who is married to husband Alex Bourne, has been busy balancing motherhood with her career and is currently a coach on The Voice Ireland.
'This year has been crazy,' she said. 'It's been nice to get away and have some quality time with the family.
'I've felt frazzled, but it's been an amazing year, with Strictly and the S Club reunion.
'It has been really chaotic juggling it all but it works. I'm lucky in that I've got a great support network.
Alex's parents and mine live close by which is great.'

They dated for five years before breaking up and three years ago, Hannah went on to find love with fitness instructor Adam Thomas, but they broke up when Hannah got back with Paul.
Rachel said: 'They will probably get married. They have a special bond and they're soulmates. They're lovely as friends and they're lovely as boyfriend and girlfriend.'
