And it seems her daughter Ava Sambora is a chip off the old block after she made a thrilling modelling debut on a beach in Malibu on Monday.
The 18-year-old took to prancing around in bikinis like a duck to water as she took part in a bottled water advertising shoot in the California celebrity enclave.

Ava made it look easy as she pranced around the beach in a variety of revealing outfits while brandishing a bottle of the imaginatively titled 138 Water.
The teen, whose father is Bon Jovi stunt guitarist Richie Sambora, looked like she was having a great time as she pulled a variety of poses on what was an uncharacteristically chilly day in the usually sunkissed area.
Of course, this ability to grin like a Cheshire cat in challenging conditions will prove to be a boon if she ends up decided to pursue more modelling work in the future.
During her outing she wore a variety of thrilling beachwear, including a yellow two-piece and a revealing blue woollen top and shorts.

Of course, being a California girl, spending time on the beach is very much the blonde bombshell's natural environment.
And last year the teen enjoyed an idyllic tropical break in Bora Bora with her famous parents.
Despite being divorced for nine years the Melrose Place actress and guitarist remain amicable as they help raise their daughter.
While she clearly loves the celebrity lifestyle, the youngster is making sure she gets a quality education under her belt, as she is a student at posh Loyola Marymount University.

The youngster - who starred in Judd Apatow film This is 40 - is clearly relishing university life, as she has joined the exclusive Alpha Phi sorority.
The only child of Heather and Richie, who were married from 1994 until also filmed a You Tube reality show with her Calabasas friends documenting their summer break.
