See yourself as a superhero? Hollywood's most iconic costumes to be auctioned off
The infamous costumes, including the original 1978 Superman outfit worn by Christopher Reeve, Michael Keaton's 1989 Batman ensemble and the hairy mask of Peter Mayhew's Chewbacca, will be featured at the Treasures on the Hollywood Vaults auction on July 28.
The costumes are expected to be picked up at a range of prices with Russell Crowe's chest armour from Gladiator forecast to be sold at a minimum $15,000 to Reeve's costume predicted to pull in up to $80,000.
The auction will be held in Los Angeles, California with an array of costumes available for auction.
