I do eat carbs, honest! Stick-thin Eva Longoria poses with a big bag of potato chips
With Desperate Housewives over, Eva Longoria has found a new way to earn a paycheck.
The petite actress is lending her name to a competition to come up with a new flavour of potato chips.
Wearing a white silk romper, a white tuxedo-style blazer and a pair of strappy sandals the Desperate Housewives star posed with a variety of crisps at the Lays pop-up store in Manhattan's Times Square.

The actress was helping to launch a contest to create a new flavour for the Lay's brand at the pop-up store where consumers can sample up to 20 existing flavors of potato chips.
'To me, the best part about the contest is that you don't have to be a foodie, chef or flavor expert to enter,' explained Longoria. 'You just have to trust your taste buds.'
In addition to acting, Longoria is also author of the cookbook Eva's Kitchen and the owner of Beso, a Latin style Steakhouse with outposts in Hollywood and Las Vegas.

Newly single Longoria is currently producing a reality show Ready for Love, which sees a team of professionals pair people with their perfect partners.
Eva felt inspired to work on the TV show because she enjoys bringing different people together.
'I'm a pretty good matchmaker, I love pairing people up, even if it's not romantic.'
'I am like, "You guys would be great friends," or "You guys would be great business partners," or "You guys should get to know each other." I try to connect a lot of people,' she said.
