She's just a party girl! Avril Lavigne lets her undercut hair down as she shows off her figure in a bikini during a Mexican getaway

Since she shot to fame with her debut album at the age of 17, she's rarely been one to flaunt her slim line curves.

But Avril Lavigne paraded her beach body during a break to Los Cabos, Mexico today.

The singer lapped up the sun in a pair of ripped white denim shorts and a cropped white T-shirt.

However perhaps she didn't feel too comfortable in the ensemble as she later covered up in a cropped white T-shirt but it was so sheer that her swimwear could still be seen.

The bikini, titled The Union’s Jacked, comes from her Abbey Dawn clothing line and costs $50, in fact the flag features regularly throughout her brand.

She teamed it with a pair of white ripped denim shorts which meant her various tattoos were also on display including a star on her wrist and another on the side of her midriff.

The material was so sheer, her British flag bikini top was visible underneath.

Also on display were the rocker’s many tattoos which include a star on her wrist and another on the side of her midriff.

When she wasn’t trying to shield herself form rays with a blue and white baseball cap, she was caressing her blonde locks, which she had transformed into an undercut recently.

Her edgy crop – which is favoured by famous faces including Rihanna and model Alice Dellal - is perhaps an indication of her wild behaviour.

Outspoken Lavigne was pictured grabbing a female friend’s chest as she climbed down steps to enter the resort.

While her pal initially seemed shocked about the gesture she later appeared to see the funny side.

The brunette women and Avril made quite an extraverted team as they let of some steam on the sands and definitely had the attention of a male member of staff.

The close pair ran down the shore holding hands, and danced together with their hands in the air and sandy feet afterwards.
