On July 1 she revealed via Twitter that her beloved grandmother had died of cancer at a New York City hospital.

But ever the professional, she was back on form at Wireless on Sunday, and thrilled her adoring fans.

The couple were pictured watching Calvin Harris on the PepsiMax stage, while Rihanna's new co-stars Henry Holland and Nicola Roberts were spotted mingling in the VIP area ahead of her performance.
