'I can't deal with someone needing space or cheating:' Taylor Swift reveals her relationship dos and don'ts as she appears on Cosmopolitan magazine cover
Famous for penning a string of break-up songs and having recently split with boyfriend Connor Kennedy, Taylor Swift isn't exactly lucky in love.
But her experiences have given her a distinctive view of what she does and doesn't want from future relationships.
'I can’t deal with someone wanting to take a relationship backward or needing space or cheating on you,' she tells Cosmopolitan magazine in their December issue.

'It’s a conscious thing: it’s a common-sense thing…I just don’t ever want to end up in a relationship that isn’t fair ever again.'
The squeaky clean singer appears on the cover of Cosmopolitan magazine dressed in a purple top and skirt alongside the caption 'Crazy for a Kennedy' -alluding to her last relationship which lasted just three months.
The star has been linked to a string of famous men including Joe Jonas, John Mayer and Jake Gyllenhaal.
'I’ve learned when to get out,' she tells the magazine when quizzed about when to end a relationship. 'I’ve never wasted too much time with the wrong person and that’s one thing I’m proud of.'

She adds: 'I’ve had a lot of dark and twisty situations happen, enough to realise that when someone exhibits signs of evoking a dark and twisty relationship and dark and twisty feelings, it’s not interesting to me.'
Taylor is said to have split from Kennedy due to 'distance,' with one friend of the singer's telling Us Weekly: 'They quietly parted ways a while ago. It was just a distance thing. No hard feelings. They're fine.'
The star, who also appears wearing a white blouse and jeans in a more wholesome shot inside the magazine, says she looks for the x factor when it comes to a new romance.
'I need that unexplainable spark. I just need to see someone and feel " Oh, no, uh-oh."
'It’s only happened a few times in my life, but I feel like if I was gonna be with someone forever, it would be because I saw them and I thought, "Oh, no.”'
As for the future, Taylor declares the only thing which could take her away from music is starting a family.
'Being a mom full time, doing everything for my kids, having a bunch of them,' she says. 'One day, I’m sure. But that’s the only other thing that could be as thrilling for me as doing this.'
Meanwhile, there was good news for the star, when it was revealed her new album Red has already gone platinum, selling 1.2 million copies in its first week.
'They just told me Red sold 1.2 million albums first week,' Taylor tweeted on Tuesday night. 'How is this real life?! You are UNREAL. I love you so much. Thanks a million ;)'
According to Billboard, Red has sold more in a single week than any album since 2002 when Eminem's The Eminem Show sold 1.322 million in its first full week at No. 1 on the Billboard 200.
