'The best early Christmas present we could ask for': The Saturdays' Rochelle and JLS Marvin Humes expecting their first child

The pop star, 23, and her JLS bandmember husband Marvin, 27, announced they were expecting in mid-2013 on their respective Twitter pages.
Their baby news comes just four months after they tied the knot in a lavish ceremony at Blenheim Palace.

I'm going to be a father! Marvin also posted a statement on JLS's official Twitter
In a lengthy statement, the excited mother-to-be wrote: 'I wanted to be the first to tell you…we have some exciting news to share!
'Marvin and I could NOT be more thrilled to announce that we are expecting our first child mid next year.
'We have always dreamt of being parents and the news is the best early Christmas present we could have asked for.
'I know Marvin is going to be a great dad and we're so excited to start a family. Thanks for all of your support and lots of love, Rochelle x.'

In a simultaneous announcement on JLS's official Twitter, Marvin wrote: 'Rochelle and I are SOOOOO excited to tell everyone that we are expecting our first baby!!! Its absolutely amazing! Baby is due middle of next year and all is great!! We want to say thank you to everyone for their love and support... it means so much to us!! We are over the moon! Love Marv x.'
Their pregnancy news comes after they have spent most of their marriage apart due to their busy schedules and conflicting geography.
The couple were only reunited two weeks ago after spending most of their marriage thousands of miles apart with The Saturdays jetting off to Los Angeles just a fortnight after they tied the knot.
They were briefly reunited in New York for a long weekend in September.

The young couple's wedding on July 27 comes after a two year courtship.
They started dating in March 2010 and quickly moved in together, but split eight months later.
However, just three months later they were back together, with Marvin proposing in the Maldives last Christmas.
Following their ceremony, the couple had a 'mini-moon' in Portugal, but plan to have a proper honeymoon over Christmas.
Rochelle's pregnancy means she is the second Saturday to become a mother.

Eldest Saturday Una Healy and husband Ben Foden welcomed their daughter Aoife in March.
Following the big announcement, their Saturdays and JLS bandmates rushed to congratulate them on Twitter.
Una tweeted: 'SO happy to be able to share the amazing news @RochelleTheSats and Marvin @JLSOfficial are expecting a baby!Mini sat number 2 on the way.'
Frankie Sandford wrote: '@RochelleTheSats so happy you all know now! We're having another sats baby!!!! Go @RochelleTheSats @JLSOfficial marv!!! #minimarvelle.'
She then uploaded a photo of all The Saturdays - minus Rochelle - toasting a glass of wine to the baby.
