Zoe Saldana bought glamour and a big smile to the Spirit Awards nominations in Los Angeles on Tuesday.
And it's no surprise she was in such a great mood - she had the pleasure of announcing that her boyfriend Bradley Cooper was up for best lead actor.
His film Sliver Linings Playbook also jointly leads the way with the most nominations for the 2013 ceremony.
The quirky film is up for five gongs, including best picture, but does face some stiff competition from oddball romance Moonrise Kingdom, also with five nominations including best picture.

Silver Linings Playbook is a comic drama based on a man just released from a mental hospital and a troubled young widow while Moonrise Kingdom is a first-love story between a precocious boy and girl who run away together.
The Spirit Awards are said to be a good indicator of the Oscars and the nominations were announced on Tuesday at the W Hotel in Hollywood by Saldana, as well as actress Anna Kendrick.
Hunger Games star Jennifer Lawrence has been tipped for best female lead and is up against he likes of child star Quvenzhane Walls, who starred in Beasts of the Southern Wild.

Moonrise Kingdom also earned directing and screenplay nods for Wes Anderson, who co-wrote the script with Roman Coppola.
Silver Linings Playbook's David O. Russell is up for directing and screenplay awards also.
Matthew McConaughey actually received two nominations, best actor as well as best supporting actor in Magic Mike.
Previous Academy Award winner Helen Hunt has a supporting-actress nomination for The Sessions.
Among other acting nominees are John Hawkes for The Sessions, Rosemarie DeWitt for Your Sister's Sister, Michael Pena for End of Watch, Sam Rockwell for Seven Psychopaths and Mary Elizabeth Winstead for Smashed.

The Spirit Awards will be handed out at an afternoon ceremony on the beach in Santa Monica, California on February 23, the day before the Oscars.
Nominees are chosen by panels of film professionals, who judge gauge contenders on criteria like uniqueness of vision, original, provocative subject matter, how economically they were produced and percentage of financing from independent, non-Hollywood sources.
Eligible films typically range from tiny-budgeted movies shot for $500,000 or less to productions that cost as much as $20 million.
Members of Film Independent, including filmmakers and movie fans, are eligible to vote on the winners.
