Actress Lily Collins and her real life beau and co-star Jamie Campbell Bower have given Robsten a run for their money in the official trailer of their film The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones.

Fitting duo: Lily and Jamie, who are a couple off camera, have grave similarities to the onscreen relationship Edward Cullen and Bella Swan shared
Reminiscent of the airiness that surrounded Miss Swan when she first caught Mr. Cullen's attention, Lily, who plays Clary Fray in the movie, commands attention in the short clip.
Every bit as mysterious as Patterson, Bower, who takes on the role of Shadowhunter Jace Wayland, finds himself lost as he realises that Clary is the holder of his people's destiny.
Complete with tears, fight scenes and the will they, won't they scenario the preview is enough to entice any fan of adventure films.

The Jessica Postigo written script which is an adaptation from Cassandra Clare's six part science fiction and fantasy novels, entitled The Mortal Instruments, is centred around Collins' character.
According the synopsis, when Clary's mother is attacked and taken from their home in New York City by a demon, the 15-year-old finds out truths about her past and bloodline on her quest to get her back, that changes her entire life.
In a recent interview with MTV, Lily gave her opinion on the perspective of the film, saying, ‘It’s really a story that’s based in reality as much as it is in this fantasy world. They’re coexisting.
‘It’s more emotionally and character-based than just aesthetically beautiful. It’s got amazing imagery and the CGI is going to be incredible, but it’s not just about that.’
